The International Door Association
Founded in 1995, the International Door Association (IDA) exists to enhance the value of professional door and access system dealers. The IDA roots go back to the Far Western Garage Door Association and the Door & Operator Dealers Association. It was the merger of these two trade groups that created the dynamic association that carries on the overall mission of its predecessors.
Today, the IDA represents door dealers from throughout the world. The IDA Board of Directors includes leadership from the United States, Canada and Mexico as the association strives to respond to member needs. If you’re not currently an IDA member, we encourage you to investigate the association.
